Days ago, Caroline Danjuma called out her colleagues over not showing up for the protest against the ongoing slavery in Libya.
The actress took to her Instagram page to share a video of how disappointed she was when she didn’t see her colleagues from the entertainment industry at the protest. She captioned the video with the following words;
“So highly disappointed .. you are the voice of the masses .. those of you here in Lagos couldn’t spare 15 min of your time.. posting one or two pictures because you want followers .. if you can’t fight for the masses then stop seeking for their attention … you only shout when you need them but when they need you , you keep mute .. SHAME. I hope the masses will wise up to really know who cares and invest their energy on themselves .. celebrities take the first step and fight for the masses .. oops I forgot the sun is too hot it will burn your skin ( cr*p)”
She shared another photo to announce that the protest will hold again on Monday 11 December.
Read below;
“Doing this again on Monday by 11 am .. if you can , please join .. God bless you as you do .. I learnt about this protest from other people’s insta pages .. there is no excuse .. this is worse than domestic violence .. this involves every horrific act towards a human you could ever think of .. this is every bodies worst nightmare .. NO EXCUSE .. every human has the right to find greener pastures , if you can’t help them don’t hurt them .. we blame the govt for everything .. yet we fail to take the first step.”
