Coronavirus: Vector reveals NCDC officials contacted him after he flew into Nigeria from Dubai

Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, actor and philosopher Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, better known by his stage name Vector has revealed that he was contacted multiple times by officials from Nigeria’s Center for Disease Control, NCDC following his trip to Dubai, UAE.

According to rapper, the health officials who were monitoring him for any signs or symptoms of coronavirus, called to ask if he’s fine as they are aware that he came into Nigeria from Dubai on March 19, 2020.

Taking to his Twitter, Vector wrote:

“So the @NCDCgov have called yesterday and just now to see if I’m fine from my flight into Nigeria from dubai on Thursday 19th of March. “I and everyone who came in are fine with no symptoms whatsoever. The health workers are overwhelmed, you can hear through the phone.”

“Do you best at this time to be as cooperative as possible bearing in mind that how we are now has always been so no need to worsen the situation. Be safe and clean. This will pass soon.”
