Apart from making it to the zenith of his football career, Ronaldo is also one of the richest footballers in the world thanks to what he has earned at Sporting Lisbon and Manchester United before joining Real Madrid.
Born on February 5, 1985, Cristiano Ronaldo is a blessed football star even to generations yet unborn as he is the first player in history to win four European golden shoes. Raised on the Portuguese island of Madeira, Ronaldo was diagnosed with a racing heart at age 15 and he underwent an operation to treat his condition and began his senior club career playing for Sporting CP before signing for Manchester United at age 18 in 2003.
Ronaldo helped Manchester United win three successive Premier League titles, a UEFA Champions League title, and a FIFA Club World Cup. And when he was 22, he had received Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year nominations and at age 23, he won his first Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year awards.
He has now posted a stunning photo on his Instagram page with all the awards he has won and also thanked family, friends, teammates and coaches who helped him to become a successful player.

Ronaldo and Lionel Messi are currently the best football stars in the world, and their rivalry is expected to continue this season in the Spanish League and also at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
