The High Court confirmed the action on April 12, and the order was made public earlier this week, according to a report by the Daily Mirror.

Brown, who earned an estimated £50,000 per week while playing in the Premier League, is known for his successful career as a professional footballer.

He played as a defender for Manchester United for over a decade, making over 300 appearances for the club and winning numerous trophies, including multiple Premier League titles and UEFA Champions League titles.

The 43-year-old’s bankruptcy comes just one year after he split from his wife, Leanne, who is known for her appearance on the reality TV show Real Housewives of Cheshire.

The couple, who have three children together, tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at Peckforton Castle near Tarporley, Cheshire, in 2009.

Following their separation, Wes reportedly moved out of the family home, leaving Leanne and their children, Halle, Lilia, and Lola.

The details surrounding Brown’s financial situation that led to his bankruptcy have not been disclosed, and it is unclear how this will affect his current financial status and future prospects.
