‘Having strong enemies is a blessing’ – Rapper Nipsey Hussle’s cryptic tweet just one hour before he was shot dead
Los Angeles rapper, Nipsey Hussle, whose real name was Ermias Davidson Asghedom was reportedly shot multiple times outside of his clothing store, in the Hyde Park neighborhood of LA, south of the Crenshaw area on Sunday.
The Victory Lap album by Nipsey Hussle was nominated for best rap album in the 2019 Grammy Awards but lost to Cardi B.
Nipsey Hussle’s album Victory Lap received a nomination for best rap album at this year’s Grammy Awards.
Los Angeles Police Department say:
“We have no suspect info at this time and will provide more details as they become available”.
Nipsey Hussle, real name Ermias Davidson Asghedom, grew up in South Los Angeles. He belonged to the Rollin’ 60s street gang as a teenager.
“I grew up in gang culture”
“We dealt with death, with murder. It was like living in a war zone, where people die on these blocks and everybody is a little bit immune to it.”
Earlier on Sunday hours before his death, the 33-yeat olf had tweeted:
“Having strong enemies is a blessing.”
