“How I spent N52 million to produce my song with Davido and Kizz Daniel” – Iyanya spills

Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Iyanya has narrated how he dropped a huge amount of money in the production of his recent track.

The famous singer, Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk took to the microblogging platform, Twitter, to cry out about the high cost of producing and promoting one’s music.

According to the ‘Kukere’ crooner, he spent nothing less than N52 million to produce, shoot and promote his recent track ‘like’ which has the likes of music superstars, Davido and Kizz daniel in it.

Speaking further, he disclosed that since the year 2021, N27 million was the least amount he had spent on promoting his songs.

He added that any artiste who is lucky enough to have his song go viral without paid promotions should be thankful.

In a series of tweets, he wrote,

“Promoting music has become very expensive, if you are lucky to get a song go viral make you Thank God.”

“The cheapest I have spent on a song since January 2021 is 27m.

When I dropped “LIKE” FT Davido and kizz Daniel, we spent 52 million, song, Video and promotion.

This should not discourage any up-and-coming artiste, you can do it, all you need it’s consistency.”
