Nigeria’s former military Head of state, General Yakubu Gowon has replied the British parliament who said he looted half of CBN treasury in 1975.
According to the now elder stateman, the allegations are untrue. He also describe the claim as ”rubbish”.
Tom Tugendhat, a member of the British parliament, made the allegation on Monday, November 23 when the lawmakers were debating a petition for the sanction against Nigeria goivernment officials over the lekki massacre.
The former head of state said served Nigeria diligently with the fear of God and his records are there to prove it. BBC pidgin reveals.
