‘I Will Die For Shatta Wale’ – Promzy

Promzy Afrika, a former member of defunct hiplife group VIP, has expressed his immense love for Dancehall artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known in showbiz as Shatta Wale.

Though it is perceived that the two musicians are not the best of friends after Promzy issued a stern warning to the controversial dancehall artiste to be mindful of his utterances about Nima, a suburb of Accra, or else he will cripple him.

However, in a Facebook live video today, Promzy declared his love for the SM Boss rubbishing the rumours that he has a feud with the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker.

Asked by one of his crew about his beef with Shatta Wale, Promzy said ‘I love my son. I will die for him, I will slap for him. I was just trying to state the facts clear. I love Shatta Wale from the bottom of my heart.’

He continued that ‘I love real people from the bottom of my heart but I don’t like people who disrespect where they are coming from.’

Shatta Wale recently caught a lot of attention following a video of him viciously attacking his own bodyguard at the S-Concert held at the Accra Sports Stadium.

From the video clip, the dance-hall singer is seen performing on stage when a fan climbed onto the stage and reached for the singer’s leg.

Impulsively, one of the bodyguards rushed at the excited fan and shoved him away from the singer’s reach, and this apparently upset Shatta Wale who slapped the bodyguard so viciously his mask fell off.
