Nigerian rapper Naira Marley who was recently arrested over suspicion of fraud by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has allegedly been released from custody.
The rapper was reportedly released on bail.
Earlier, we had reported that the rapper who was arraigned to court this Monday, May 20, pleaded not guilty.
It had been reported that the Federal High Court that presided in Lagos ordered that Naira Marley should be remanded in prison custody pending the hearing of his bail application.
A video that recently surfaced online shows that the sensational hip-hop star was able to fulfill his bail application. The rapper was seen entering a vehicle and leaving police custody after he was released.
In the video, the rapper was seen smiling and celebrating his release with his friends and family who came to pick him up. In another clip, he was seen sitting in a room with more people who had waited for him to arrive and celebrate.
