Peruzzi issues public service announcement, denies ever doing anything for clout
Peruzzi, a Nigerian Afrobeats singer, has cleared the air about living a fake life.
He made the statement in response to a fan of Wizkid who had attacked him over his comment regarding Davido’s new project.
Peruzzi explained that he had only thanked Davido and his manager, Asa Asika, for engaging his songwriting services on the project.
He further stated that he had never lived a fake life and urged fans to desist from making unfounded accusations.
“So Exciting My Bro. Big Love To @davido & @AsaAsika For Always Engaging My Professionalism. @magicsticksbeat Pulled Up Heavy! God Is The Greatest.” Peruzzi tweeted.
In reaction, a man with Twitter username @klebnation trolled him, saying he only writes hit songs for others and cannot do same for him.
He wrote; “Na the only thing you sabi be dat to write for another person but ur own jam no dey bang or go anywhere especially ur album”
Peruzzi said he’s never done anything for clout throughout his life and his energy is enough to move any room he enters, so he’s never had to fake anything.
The ‘Majesty’ crooner added that whether people love him or not, nothing about him is fake and he will continue to remain authentic.
“I don’t do anything in my life for clout. My energy alone can move any room I’m in, I never had to fake it. Whether a person Loves me or hates me one thing is for Sure I’m authentic. There’s nothing fake about me and never will be,” he wrote.
