Peter Okoye and Paul Okoye (twin brothers) who have been in a loggerhead for some time now have put their differences aside to celebrate their 36 years birthday together.

The biggest duo in Africa has shown a sense of maturity at this point especially Peter Okoye who took to his Instagram page to congratulate and celebrate himself and his twin brother, Paul, as they turn a year older today, November 18th.

Sharing this photo, Peter wrote;

‘Happy birthday shout out to the biggest duo ever in Africa! One love…… The birthday dey FOR MY HEAD for my bio???’

This comes weeks after Peter Okoye wrote Paul an elaborate letter, asking his twin to quit shading him on social media, that they are not in competition and so saw no reason why Paul would be making mockery of his struggles.

“I have even called myself an up coming artiste.. You are the [songwriter] and the voice of Psquare, the every every! No wahala,” said Peter in the emotional post, adding, “Pls allow me to have my peace showcase my self to the world and enjoy with my family. And I am expecting you to do the same. ”

He continued, saying, “It is not a competition and it is not healthy. My brother I have moved on. I am very sure we will definitely do songs again in future and I wish you all the best bro.”

Yesterday, Peter okoye and his wife Lola Omotayo celebrated their 4 years of marriage.

Posting on Instagram during the celebration, peter’s wife, Lola said people unfairly judge Peter because they do not know him personally and what a great family man he is.

She wrote;

“13 years together and today makes it 4 years since we became husband and wife! Phew, what a journey; two beautiful kids later! I have become such a strong woman because of this story of ours.

I thank the Almighty God for you in our lives. You are an amazing father and partner.

A good provider and best of all my friend. Peter Okoye you are such a kind and generous man, it saddens me that most that judge you know not the true person that you are and those that know you are blessed to have you in their lives.

Your talent is timeless and your heart is priceless. We have screamed at eachother and we have cried together as well, but all in all we have grown to understand one another’s strengths and weaknesses and we are now in a good place.

May God guide you in all that you do and may He continue to bless you for us my dearest husband and most importantly may He stand for us when the world is against us.

Happy anniversary”
