1) Shaku Shaku Dance
In the years Olamide has been at the top of the Nigerian music industry, he has given us the Bobo dance style and with his help, Lil Kesh made Shoki a national dance step.
2017 saw him introducing another street dance Shaku Shaku to a wide audience. Call it the Nigerian dance style of the year, and you won’t be wrong. Everyone from Davido to DJ Cuppy has been spotted dancing the Shaku Shaku!
2) Chest purse
The chest purse had existed as a fashion accessory years before Baddo brought it to national consciousness. The minute he was seen wearing it at events and at in his video for Wo, everybody (or at least a large number of people) now has one.
3) Leg bandana
It’s not clear if this would become a trend but knowing Baddo’s track record, it may become the latest trend in town.
Olamide Adedeji, known by his stage name Olamide but popularly called Olamide Baddo, is a Nigerian hip hop recording artist from Bariga, Lagos State. He records mostly in Yoruba, his native tongue.
The popular rapper is not just the best on the microphone, but also a playful and caring father at home. YBNL rapper and his fiancé, Adebukunmi Aisha Suleiman welcomed their first son, Batifeori Maximilliano Adedeji on the 30th of January, 2015.
