One of Nigeria’s wealthiest men Tony Elumelu recently stirred the hearts of many Nigerians with an unexpected action of his.
The Nigerian billionaire was spotted buying roasted corn by the roadside along Lagos expressway. In a video shared on his Instagram page, Tony Elumelu, who is the chairman of the United Bank for Africa (UBA), casually stepped out of his car alongside his bodyguards and walked up to a woman selling roasted corn by the roadside.
The serial entrepreneur priced the corn and nipped at it the local way even while she was selling to him. Interestingly, the 56-year-old Tony Elumelu had met with the Senegalese president earlier in the day.
At the posh gathering where he met the president Macky Sall, Tony Elumelu had eaten Senegalese jollof rice and dined quite sumptuously.
Tony Elumelu shared with the caption:
Jollof is nice, but some days we sample roasted corn along the Lagos express…

Despite the lovely feast he had been treated to, Tony Elumelu still stopped by the roadside to satisfy his craving.
